Correct a classmate´s blog

I would like to go to visit Peru, because that is one of Latin American countries that I don't know . I know Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. I think Peru is a country that respects its culture, and specifically native peoples, something that is forgotten in Chile.

First I’d like to visit Lima, walking through its streets and know your people, but I'd like to know more about Peru, as visit machupichu and, know how they got to build such strengths besides his knowledge of the nature.

other feature of Peru that I'd like to know is, on the use of hallucinogenic plants as a central part of certain indigenous communities. especifically the use of ayahuasca, which also goes by the name of the dead rope, because according to the belief of the indigenous peoples who consume it, cause the separation of body and soul, which causes the soul journey to the spirit world and connect with the ancestors.

Finally use of Ayahuasca today is associated with the treatment of individuals addicted to other drugs such as cocaine and alcohol. is interesting the power of this plant to heal both physical and emotional problems, however its use should be respected and made within the context of Peruvian Indigenous peoples, since its use is deeply rooted in their culture.

Well, the text written by my classmate Fernando Henríquez was fairly well written. There are some minor errors corrected, maybe there are more but I have not all the knowledge in this language to be able of to realize all the corrections.

I believe that is very interesting what my classmate wrote. I have a very similar opinion to him, even this summer, me and a friend, we will visit Peru because as Fernando, we believe it is a very interesting country in terms of their culture, traditions and historical monuments.

In relation to what my classmate Fernando wrote on ayahuasca., I might add that this is a hallucinogenic plant very used by native peoples of Peru and throughout Latin America to communicate with the ancestors. The use of ayahuaca has been known throughout the world attracting the attention of hundreds of people watching this sacred plant as the solution for many of the mental and emotional problems that affect people. However, ordinary people, that do not know this plant, they think that ayahuasca is a typical plant used as drug or to enjoy a moment, ignoring the use healing that has been used for hundreds of years and the respect the indigenous culture of Peru has with she.

This summer I will visit Peru and especially the center where they work with the use of ayahuasca. I find it very interesting to learn more about its history, uses and consequences. I think little by little we must preserve the traditions of all indigenous peoples of Latin America so that his story is not forgotten.

Next Elections!

That great topics!, well, I am registered on the electoral registers, because I thinks that is very important that all young who are 18 years or more, to register to vote in elections. President of Chile is elected by us, is the highest authority that governs our country. All laws passed through his hands. Is very important who is in the centre of power. Is important not only is person, too, the political group behind the candidate. I will vote in December by Marco Enriquez Ominami, because for me he is the candidate who most represents my ideals and my thinking. I think that maybe has not experienced enough to be in front of the country, but I prefer him, before than Piñera or Frei. I do not feel represented by them. I think that their faces are very repeated in the scene politics. Piñera, is a businessman, he drives an important proportion of companies in our country, and he supports the capitalist system. Frei, was president, and I think he is being selfish to want to be president again, as if in Chile, a country of 16 million people, there are no more people able to be president of the republic. He already had her period; I think their presence is unnecessary, because he is very old. Marco Enriquez has a social conscience, and when he speaks, he knows what he says. He has very clear ideas and is the only one, when I see it on TV, he does not use populars phrase. The words coming out of his mouth make sense. Arrate finally, I think he has nice ideas, but those are not based in reality.
I don’t would like participate in politics to be president, senator or deputy, but I would to help since my place of psychologist for example, helping in education policies, which is the theme I like psychology, and I believe, is the basis for the Chilean society to prosper fully.

Bike tree!!

The news said that Japan developed cutting edge technology in its design. This is a bicycle parking or "Bike Tree", very unusual, but useful in many ways. This invention arose as a result of people leaving in the streets, piled bicycles, representing a nuisance and disorder to the people and the environment. This invention was created by a company dedicated to engineering works called JFE, which aimed to give a solution to this problem. I think the bike is a very useful means of transport, non-polluting, reduces space and contributes to the maintenance of good health of people, so that any government measure to promote cycling is valid . This is a sign that Japan is one of the most developed countries in the world, and to which we must imitate in certain respects. In Chile, yet the culture of cycling is not fully released, but every day more people decide to leave their cars or public transport for a bicycle, which can be faster, healthier, and decontamination. Despite this, the Chilean government still does not implement the roads passable streets or “bike paths, ", so that people are constantly exposed to danger. Bicycle parking helps people use their bikes more, for the safety of this system.

I believe that this new bicycle parking system is very modern for use in Chile, need a big investment of money. I think in our country there are other more important problems to solve, but I think it is a very good idea.

my faculty

My faculty is social sciences and my career is psychology, this is a good faculty, since it has good teachers that are dedicated in your areas. there are things that should improve as for example the infrastructure y the technologies. The first steps to solve this situation is a better organization and a good distribution of resources.

Another problem I have seen is that the career of psychology, anthropology, education and sociology, there is not communication between them. This is a problem because these careers correspond to different fields of science so that they should be interconnected. This is demonstrated first in the arrangement of classrooms, for example, in the building of the Faculty of Social Sciences, the first level is for Education, Second to anthropology, the third level to sociology and the fourth level to psychology. This situation prevents that we talk between us in academic terms, which is extremely important because as I said earlier, all these careers unfold in a scientific setting. This would produce a better learning much more comprehensive. For that, I think it is important to propose in the regular channels of the faculty, giving primary emphasis to a restructuring in the arrangement of the classroom. Other deficiencies of the political governing our faculty, is the lack of communication with other universities. we should have more conventions, programs, courses, etc., to establish a connection permanent and dynamic, with careers of other establishments, private or state, to take advantage and learn the different approaches that can give the same career. In conclusion, I think it needs more unity and communication.

Finally ,my classmates as I commented that in this faculty as the other faculties of this campus has many problems, especially in infrastructure and resources.

I'd like to visit italy.

Since I was little I wanted to visit a country that for my family and for me, is very important, since it is directly linked to my ancestors, the country of which I speak is Italy, and someday I want to know the town from where my grandfather came Atilio Fontana, grandfather on my mother. This town is called San Felix, in which Atilio lived until he emigrated to Latin America. Italy represents all the traits and characteristics of my family, beginning with the Fontana surname which is still maintained in the generations. Besides, is a country very attractive, beautiful, developed in art, design, economy and holder of great wealth and spectacular monuments. First I would like to know the capital of Italy, the conservative Rome, and the people. Also enjoy of exquisite cuisine from years of traditions, and its the same time is a mixture of avant and elegance. Rome hosts the world's most visited churches, which has a unique architectural beauty, Here, there is the highest institution of the Catholic Church., the Holy See at the Vatican, also I would like to visit, by the age and the historical monuments as the Sistine Chapel that every year millions of tourists visit.Rome represents the evolution of culture until today.

psychology and education:

The news I chose to talk about schools in England, in the news indicates that the scores of the test GCSE are improved during the last decade. The reason would be found in programs that the government has implemented to improve these scores. Some figures indicate that 50.4% of students in state schools in England have achieved an increase of 2.1 percentage point rise from last year, while in private schools for 47, 7% of the proportion of pupils achieving good scores . Is important to mention that this increase includes the scores for math and English, which appear to be important within the political implemented by the government. For the field of English, the news to talk that state schools are gradually abandoning foreign languages. Besides, there is a big gap

between rich students and poor students in the GCSE test result.

I chose this story because I really like educational psychology, more specifically, the study of schools including its objectives, functions, plans and programs of study. The school is responsible for making the man a social being. The school is what shapes our minds and behavior. This analysis is important and interesting to me. The news tells us of the importance of scores on a test have to consider whether education has improved or not, and I believe that school improvement is related to good relations in the school with an awareness of the objectives of the school in the dominant economic system and with other elements, not only with test scores.

favorite topics!

I would like that in the blog we talked about of aspects of our personal lives, things related to our daily, as for example: describe somewhere in santiago we like a lot, talk about any singer, actor or style of music that most interests us, choose any kind of food and talk about it or write about situations or things that happen in our everyday lives.

I would like to talk about things that allow than we know a little more, as for example . our likes, dislikes, etc. There are topics for me are not very entertaining for example, when we have to talk about our careers. Maybe it is because I spend most of the time at the university, or studying subject related with the career of psychology. I think that we all realize more things in our lifes besides of our careers. Therefore, I find interesting that everyone can tell about those other things they do in their lives.

however, I believe that the purpose of blogs is to exercise our grammar and learn to express ourselves better, so any topic to talk will serve the objetive of this activity.
